It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can choose the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those of more expensive models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best robot mop and vacuum combo robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.
What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong for example, the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.
You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's some items that need to be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can also vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could wish for. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.
Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.
The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads rotating to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
Created to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The center of the control panel is the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can modify how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo which is a wonderful feature for households with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
